Daniel Radcliffe arrived at the premiere of The Woman In Black in Paris on Thursday (February 9). The 22-year-old actor looked dapper in a gray suit and gold tie.
He recently expressed his disappointment on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 not receiving enough Oscar recognition.
He told the Radio Times, “I don’t think the Oscars like commercial films, or kids’ films, unless they’re directed by Martin Scorsese. I was watching Hugo the other day and going, ‘Why is this nominated and we’re not?’ I was slightly miffed. There’s a certain amount of snobbery. It’s kind of disheartening. I never thought I’d care. But it would’ve been nice to have some recognition, just for the hours put in.”
As for his latest film, Radcliffe admits he was a little nervous over its release.
He said, “I’ve never experienced this before. With Potter, you basically knew that people were going to like it.”
