Let the teen queen drama begin. Word is that Miley Cyrus will no longer be starring in Adam Sandler’s upcoming movie Hotel Transylvania, and will be replaced by fellow former Disney star Selena Gomez.
And of course along with a casting changeup like this come the inevitable rumors – some are saying that Miley’s exit was because the 19-year-old is more interested in partying than working, but a source says that she has decided to take some time off to plan her strategy for her movie career. “People drop out of films all the time,” the source said. “Seriously, it’s not that big of a deal.”
The animated Hotel Transylvania follows Dracula (Adam Sandler), who operates a high-end resort away from the human world and whose life is shaken up when a (human) boy enters the picture and falls for the Count’s teen-aged daughter (Selena.)
The movie – set for a September release – also stars Saturday Night Live‘s Andy Samberg, Cee Lo Green and Kevin James.
