Robert Pattinson Is “Bewildered By His Global Fame”

Robert Pattinson loves his fans but says he can’t relate to them. Speaking at the Berlin International Film Festival while talking about his new role in Bel Ami – the Twilight hottie admitted he is “bewildered by his global fame.”

He said, “It’s been strange having a pretty much single-sex audience all the time, but it’s been great. They’ve been incredibly loyal. I mean people come from Thailand to stand in the cold air. I can’t relate on any level but it’s definitely very nice.”

The 25-year-old English actor has portrayed vampire Edward Cullen since 2008. Asked if he would ever play the character again in any possible future Twilight movies he was a bit reluctant.

“I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old. I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting.”

Meanwhile he’s bought a new home in Los Angeles and reportedly paid $6 million for it. It’s a Spanish-style property with swimming pools and an amphitheater.

Plenty of space to entertain friends and Kristen Stewart!
