Josh Hutcherson Gets CinemaCon Breakthrough Performer Award

Congratulations to Josh Hutcherson who received CinemaCon’s Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award. The event – which is an annual convention of theater owners – took place at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday (April 26).

Jeremy Renner was there too and received the Male Star Of The Year Award.

CinemaCon said in a statement: “With an already impressive resume of films under his belt, Hutcherson is one of the most accomplished young actors of his time.”

Last week The Hunger Games star was also presented with the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Media Awards. At 19 – he was the youngest recipient. Good going Josh!
