Kristen Stewart Explains The Reason For ‘Breaking Dawn’ Reshoot

Kristen Stewart appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Friday (May 4) and revealed a little of what happened at the Breaking Dawn technical reshoots in Vancouver last weekend. The 22-year-old actress said the film’s director needed more of a focus on Bella’s first hunt as a vampire.

She told Jay, “We were doing just more of the hunt in the beginning. The first hunt. It’s so important. I just wanted more of it. We all wanted more of it.”

Unfortunately she hurt her foot during filming.

Talking about when she walked out on the show’s stage, she explained, “I didn’t have the ultimate swag though when I walked out; I hurt my foot. I wasn’t trying to get out of wearing heels…either. That wasn’t the case.”

She added, “[It’s] a puncture wound, I promise.”

Stewart said the only thing she didn’t like about shooting Breaking Dawn Part 2 was the fake children. In the movie – Bella and Edward become parents to their baby girl named Renesmee.

“We had a lot of fake children that I worked with. [They looked like] little Chucky dolls, like, babies with wigs. Renesmee grows hair. She’s really beautiful it’s just that an infant with a full head of hair on a fake doll, like, sticky hands that are touching my face, not good.”
