Some of the stars of Glee – Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, and Naya Rivera – showed up for Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif. on Saturday (July 14). Fans and photographers greeted the actors as they made their way into the building.
During the panel discussion – a few story lines were revealed for the upcoming season.
According to the Hollywood Reporter – executive producer Brad Falchuk said, “Part of what we’re trying to explore now is what happens after you graduate high school and you become an adult: your life changes and your expectations change and it’s really hard to maintain relationships but not impossible.
“We really want to challenge the characters a little bit more because high school is all about firsts and we want them to have new firsts now: your first love out of high school, your first big breakup, your big breakup and reconciliation, there’s a lot to it.”
Entertainment Weekly reports the series regulars will be back “in some capacity” for season 4. Chord Overstreet isn’t locked in to be a regular as of yet. There will be another Britney Spears tribute too. One episode will explore Rachel’s transition to New York. There she meets Kate Hudson who plays her negative-reinforcement-loving dance teacher.
Glee’s fourth season premieres September 13 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
