Daniel Radcliffe turned 23 on Monday (July 23). Can you believe the British actor started working on the first Harry Potter movie when he was 11? Now an adult – he’s branched out into other roles.
He’ll be in Kill Your Darlings as Beat poet Allen Ginsberg and will be in the supernatural thriller Horns. He also recently made a special appearance in Slow Club’s music video.
Last week Variety announced that he has landed the role in a romantic comedy titled The F-Word with Zoe Kazan. The movie is about two people who fall in love but decide to remain friends since the woman already has a boyfriend. Production will start on August 15 in Toronto, Canada.
In an interview with Bullett Media – Radcliffe talked about how he misses his childhood years.
“[The adultification of today’s children is] f—— tragic — the fact that kids want to wear designer labels? I didn’t give a f— about that. My parents were just trying to get me to not eat insects when I was 9. I didn’t know what the f— All Saints was. When did kids stop eating mud? The whole point of being a kid is that you get to do s— you can’t do when you’re an adult. It’s downhill from here. I’m 22 now and I realize that my best years are behind me.”
