Carly Rae Jepsen continued her whirlwind promo blitz – in advance of the September 18th release of her debut album, ‘Kiss’ – by making an appearance on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Tuesday (August 28). The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer posed with the talk show host and then posted it to Twitter, writing:
“I’m performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this eve! 11:35pm est on NBC. #Kiss”
Earlier in the week Carly performed her hit ‘Good Time’ with Owl City on both The Today Show and America’s Got Talent, as well as at the Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the U.S. Open. She’ll wrap up her busy week by appearing on Conan on Wednesday, August 29th.
In an interview a few weeks ago, the 26-year-old Canadian pop star talked about who inspired the songs on the highly-anticipated ‘Kiss.’ “These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years,” Carly said. “I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers. It has been the most fulfilling experience. The record is pop. It’s inspired by Robyn, The Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor. I can’t wait to share it with everyone! Kiss.”
