Nick Jonas turns 20 today (September 16)! Yesterday he and brothers Joe and Kevin were at the 2012 Variety’s Power of Youth event being honored for their own charity Change for the Children. The foundation’s goal is to motivate and inspire kids to help others who are less fortunate.
Nick said at the L.A. event, “We believed that young people can make a huge difference in the world around us. They’re active with their communities, socially aware and always working to give back. We wanted to help our fans and every young person out there understand that they too can work to change the future for the better.”
He may not be the new American Idol judge but he is concentrating on the new Jonas Brothers album and their reunion concert at Radio City Music Hall on October 11.
This past summer he told The Insider, “We’ve been on a hiatus for three years now so it’ll be great to get back out there and give our fans some new music.”
