Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen performed at the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto, Canada on Sunday (November 25).
Unfortunately the 18-year-old received boos and jeers from the crowd. According to the Vancouver Sun – the football fans booed whenever his face appeared on the JumboTron. They also booed when a host spoke his name at the onset of halftime.
The Boyfriend singer didn’t let the audience know if he was bothered by the reactions.
“It’s an honor to be here at the Grey Cup in Canada,” he said. “Make some noise. I said make some noise!”
It wasn’t a great news weekend for Justin. He was criticized for wearing overalls when he accepted a Diamond Jubilee Medal from Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Friday.
“Overauhls. Lol,” Bieber tweeted of the incident.
He also added, “I met the Prime Minister in overalls lol. I hope you hate my style.”
