Ahoy! The boys of One Direction appear ready to sail the high seas as they pose for a picture dressed as sailors. They posted the pic on Twitter and wrote, “Hello Sailors… 1DHQ.”
Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik traveled to Ghana this week to lend their support to Red Nose Day a telethon that is the highlight of the Comic Relief charity event. The boys toured the poverty-stricken village of Accra to see firsthand the people who receive donations and support from Comic Relief projects in the region.
Taking to Twitter, the singers talked about their experiences and urged their fans to join them in supporting the charity. “Just arrived back from Accra, Ghana! Best life experience ever! This @rednoseday please get involved!,” Niall tweeted.
“Massive thanks to @rednoseday for taking us to Ghana! It was incredible! Real eye opener! We take so much for granted over here!” he continued.
Harry sounded introspective as he shared his thoughts with his fans. “Today was the most amazing day I’ve had so far..In my life ever,” he tweeted.
To further lend their support, the band has reportedly recorded a cover of Blondie’s hit ‘One Way or Another,’ to help raise money for the Comic Relief fund.
