Carly Rae Jepsen looks like she’s getting some advice from former President Bill Clinton as she gets ready to take the stage at the ‘A Night Out with the Millennium Network’ fundraiser in Washington D.C. on Monday (April 29). Carly tweeted:
“Chatting with the one and only @billclinton #clintonfoundation #milleniumnetwork”
The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer has had a big month – a couple of weeks ago she won the award for best pop album for ‘Kiss’ at the Junos, Canada’s annual music awards show. Carly beat out her friend and mentor Justin Bieber, who was nominated for his album ‘Believe’.
In a recent interview Carly talked about “saving” the Biebs during an on-stage mishap. “Last year, I was onstage with Justin during his set when he tripped. I don’t know if I saved him or he saved me, because it happened so fast and we just carried on with the show,” she said.
“It actually really wasn’t his fault because the stage wasn’t in the position it’s normally supposed to be in. I saw it at the last minute and he didn’t. All you can do is laugh, really!”
