Cody Simpson posted a couple of pics of himself during a video shoot in Malibu, Calif. on Wednesday (May 22). The Pretty Brown Eyes singer showed off his toned arms while he strummed a ukelele. He wrote, “At the video shoot yesterday down in Malibu.”
Life really is a beach for Cody – in a couple of weeks he’ll be performing seaside at the Real.Fun.Beachfest in Panama City, Florida where he’ll share the stage with The Wanted.
Next up: getting ready for the release of Surfers Paradise, his second full-length album that drops on July 16 and his autobiography, Welcome To Paradise: My Journey, that hits shelves in October.
The 18-year-old recently talked about who inspired his new disc. “I grew up playing the acoustic guitar and I decided I really wanted to go back to my roots on this album,” Cody told Radio.com. “I grew up listening to Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer so they definitely inspired a lot of the album too. There’s a really mellow, acoustic sound to it.”
