Lea Michele went to dinner at Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s house on Friday night (August 9). The actress tweeted a photo of her table setting – including candles, a plate of salad and a place card with her scripted name on it.
She wrote: “Beautiful dinner tonight at @MrRPMurphy’s house…I love him so much…”
Since Cory Monteith’s tragic death on July 13 – Lea and Ryan have leaned on each other for support. Murphy told TV Line, “It’s just a very tragic thing. It’s been a very difficult thing for all of us, including Lea, to love someone who is an addict. It’s something all of us have been dealing with for many months. It’s a disease and, unfortunately, the disease flared up.”
Murphy even shared that Lea had input into the October 10 episode – which will address the drug-related death of Monteith’s character, Finn.
“Lea wants it to reflect the truth, to warn people what can happen,” a source explained to Us.
People reports the Glee actress is still reeling from the loss of Cory.
“Every day is so hard,” the source says. “Just getting up in the morning means remembering that Cory is gone. It’s incredibly painful. It’s a struggle. She is incredibly strong, but that doesn’t make it easier.”
