Lea Michele has posted a collage of photos of herself getting the beauty treatment. She tweeted on Monday (August 19): “Beautiful shoot w/ my glam family… I love them so much! @EsteeStanley @marktownsend1 & @melaniemakeup”

Lea and the rest of the Glee cast start filming the Cory Monteith tribute episode on Friday, August 23. According to Wetpaint.com – Fox president Kevin Reilly confirms that the Cory tribute will be Season 5, Episode 3 and will air on Thursday, October 10.

Then they will take a break for postseason baseball coverage before immediately returning with up to seven episodes. After that is complete – the new legal drama Rake will take over the show’s time slot until Spring 2014. Only then will Fox air the second half of the season.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirms that Cory’s character Finn Hudson will pass away but not from an overdose. The storyline will bring awareness to drug abuse. He and a number of the actors will all film drug-related PSAs to air alongside the episode.

It’s been reported that Lea is playing an important role in the tribute episode.

“The producers are still going back and forth on what they want to do and clearing music for his tribute,” a source recently revealed. “But most of all, Glee’s creative team is looking to Lea to give the final word on decisions that are being made for this season’s third episode, which will be an emotional tribute to Cory. The meetings are lengthy and Lea is a part of them to make sure everything is just right.”

Entertainment Weekly reports that Murphy has shared how the cast has been coping.

“The cast and crew have had solace in being together.  There’s been tears on set. It’s been hard for a lot of people. But the really difficult thing is coming…. I think it turned out to be a lovely tribute, and it’s a very heartfelt look at how young people grieve. After that, we’re going to take two weeks or three weeks down to get our heads together because it’s been a really hard thing to write. We loved Cory and we loved Finn and it feels like a huge loss and a huge heartache not to have either of them around. We’re trying to craft an episode that’s not just about us grieving but about a lot of the young fans grieving.”
