On Thursday night she had country singer Luke Bryan appear as a special guest with her on stage at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. He tweeted on September 20: “Thanks for having me last night @taylorswift13. Fun times.”
Luke had flown in from New York City where that morning he was a co-host on The View.
The show was the first of three sold out nights in the city. In November she heads off to New Zealand and Australia. USA Today reports she said before the concert, “Not only is this my hometown, it’s one of the craziest crowds we play to over the course of the tour.”
The I Knew You Were Trouble hit maker also was fighting a cold and coughed occasionally throughout the show. At one point, she asked the audience to scream loudly as she stepped aside to blow her nose “so it’s not awkwardly silent.”
Swift also said she’s going to work on her next album.
“I’ll be in the studio, figuring out what comes next. I really like to take two years to make a record, and I’ve been writing and doing stuff for the last year. This is kind of the year that it goes into overdrive, and it’s all I think about and I become obsessive over it and I’m hard to talk to.”
