Zac Efron posted a photo on Monday (September 30) from his upcoming film Parkland. The caption reads, “Here’s an exclusive new still of #ZacEfron as #Parkland Memorial’s surgical resident Jim Carrico.”
The movie – a recounting of the events that occurred at Dallas’ Parkland Hospital on the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated – stars Zac as a doctor who operated on both Kennedy and shooter Lee Harvey Oswald.
It’s great to see Zac back in action after it was revealed that he had secretly entered rehab twice this year for alcohol and cocaine addiction. Last week the actor resurfaced and posted a pic of himself looking happy and healthy while posing in front of Peru’s Machu Picchud.
“Hey guys!” Zac wrote. “Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks…means the world to me. Love you guys! – Z”
