Glee’s Blake Jenner covers the October issue of Bello magazine. The 21-year-old actor – who got the award for Breakout TV Star at the the 2013 Teen Choice Awards – talks about his success and keeping grounded in the interview.
He also opens up on the late Cory Monteith. Asked what he learned from working alongside the actor, Blake replies: “To be grateful and kind. ALWAYS.”
According to Wetpaint.com – Blake is not letting fame go to his head.
“I am grateful to everyone. My family, my friends, all the great people I work with. Without everyone and everything, I don’t think any of it would’ve been possible. You definitely need a positive family unit.”
To keep fit on Glee he says, “I really love to run and then right after get some good lifting in. Then of course, follow all that up with some healthy meals and protein.”
Blake also talks about his latest project Billy Boy.
He says, “It’s a script I wrote that we are getting everything in place for to shoot. It’s about a young man who’s lost. He doesn’t have the best home life, he’s in with the wrong crowd, and takes part in crimes. He meets a girl who shows him a second chance at life. It’s definitely a story of hope.”
