A video of Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry at a karaoke session has surfaced. The two sang Boyz II Men’s I’ll Make Love to You at karaoke club Dimples in Burbank, California years ago.
According to US Weekly – in the clip, Pattinson, 27, and Perry, 29, sing the romantic tune in front of an enthusiastic crowd. At one point, Katy announces the chair she’s sitting in is “too high to make love”. Pattinson replies, “Sit on my lap.”
Both have always insisted they are just two good friends. The singer told Elle U.K., “Okay, so here’s the proof there was never a thing going on with me and Robert Pattinson. I fart in front of him. Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That’s a rule.”
She added, “He’s my bud, I’m like his big sister. We just hang out. The other day, I said: ‘One of the things I’m most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.’ And that’s true.”
When rumors swirled on the two hooking up after his split from Kristen Stewart in May – Perry went to set the record straight.
“I sent her a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. ‘I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits.'”
