Taylor Swift had a sweet night at the American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) – she won in four categories, including the top prize for Artist Of The Year.
“This validates that if you voted for this, that we are heartbroken in the same way and we fall in love the same way and we’re happy in the same way, and if you listen to this, we’re on the same page … we’re pretty much in it together,” Taylor said as she accepted her award.
The 23-year-old beat out some big names – Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – who were all up for Artist Of The Year. This was Taylor‘s third win – the most times any artist has won in this category – for the honor.
She also scored the prizes for favorite female pop/rock artist, female country artist and country album for ‘Red.’
