It’s a big day for Pretty Little Liars fans. “A” day, to be exact.
For those not familiar with PLL and its mysterious plotline, “A” is an unidentified character that has been terrorizing the girls – Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) – since the show’s beginning. Finally, on tonight’s (March 19) season 2 finale of the hit ABC Family series the elusive texter’s secret identity will finally be revealed.
Lucy, Troian and Shay stopped by Good Morning America today and Shay tweeted out this photo, along with a shout out to Ashley who couldn’t be there with them.
“So much fun @GMA with the gals and @ashbenzo who was there in spirit :)”
The girls then added to the suspense (and got the audience shouting out their guesses) by dropping four clues to “A”‘s identity:
Lucy said: “A” loathes one of the PLLs more than the others.
Shay said: “A” has a motive to justify “A”s evil deeds.
Troian said: “A” admires one of the liars more than the others.
And an additional clue was dropped: “A” wants a playmate.
Something intriguing to keep in mind: Troian didn’t completely dismiss the idea that “A” could be more than one person. In fact, she said, “I don’t know if it’s possible for ‘A’ to be one person!” Hmmmm…
So what do you think, Pretty Little Liars fans – who will be revealed as being the mysterious “A”?
Pretty Little Liars airs tonight (Monday, March 19) on at 8/7c ABC Family.
