It was a good morning for Josh Hutcherson fans as the Hunger Games hunk signed a few autographs as he arrived at the Good Morning America studios in New York City on Thursday (March 22).
The actor was there to talk about his new movie that was opening hours later – the hotly anticipated Hunger Games went on to shatter box-office records. Its opening $19.75 million box office result from 2,565 midnight locations set the record for all-time highest-grossing non-sequel midnights ever. It’s also the 7th highest midnight gross of all time.
While on the show Josh talked about his skyrocketing fame, and about seeing his face on magazine covers, posters and some more unusual places – like printed on a collection of bedding.
“That’s a lot. Millions of people are going to sleep with me,” he joked, staring at his face on a special-edition Hunger Games pillow case. “Over the last ten years, I’ve gone through so many interesting projects and things that are very different…but this one is a whole other world as you can see.”
