Elizabeth Olsen – the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – is finding success in her own right. The 23-year-old actress – otherwise known as Lizzie – recently talked to the Press Association about her new film Red Lights starring Sigourney Weaver and Robert DeNiro.
She said she loved working alongside Weaver.
“I didn’t get to work with De Niro but I got to work with Sigourney Weaver. I was really nervous but on my first day on set, she was like, ‘Hey can we run through lines for tomorrow?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, absolutely because I don’t know what’s going to come out of my mouth if we don’t’. It was awesome just to watch how she works and speaks to the director about her part and how intelligent she is. To be in the presence of such a strong female is always incredible.”
Red Lights comes out on June 15.
Olsen just finished filming Kill Your Darlings with Daniel Radcliffe. She’s now working on Therese Raquin. She plays the title character alongside Tom Felton and Jessica Lange.
