Hailee Steinfeld was spotted on Friday (July 7) while on the NYC set of her latest film, the Judd Apatow-produced Can a Song Save Your Life?
The 15-year-old True Grit star looked very grown up in her crop-top and shorts as she filmed a chase scene with co-star Mark Ruffalo. On Wednesday she tweeted:
“Totally diggin my wardrobe for this film! It’s a lot different then how you’ve all seen me…but I think you’ll like it too ;)”
Sounds like Hailee is enjoying the shoot and working with Mark – on Thursday she tweeted about her first day on the set and about working with the Avengers actor.
“Just wrapped on an amazing first day of #CanASongSaveYourLife ! @Mruff221 is a G.”
The film – that also stars Keira Knightly and Adam Levine, who is making his acting debut – is about an aspiring singer (Keira) who moves to New York with her musician boyfriend (Adam) to chase their dreams of a music career. The two break up and Keira’s character is soon discovered by a record producer while singing at a local bar.
