The Wanted Perform For ‘GMA’s’ Summer Concert Series

The Wanted performed for Good Morning America’s summer concert series at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park on Friday (August 24). They had to get up early for the show – probably not an easy feat as they had traveled down from Syracuse where they had a concert at the New York State Fair the night before.

Jay McGuiness, Max George, Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran, and Nathan Sykes sang their hits songs Glad You Came, Chasing the Sun and Lightening in front of excited fans and talked about what they like most about the U.S. – which is apparently the size of  food portions.

Tom Tweeted: “Today, I get to do something I’ve always wanted to do…play in central park!! #GMATheWanted

The boys are up for Best New Artist at MTV’s Video Music Awards. They are up against the likes of One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen.

The other day Max told the Associated Press, “I think One Direction will win. That is my prediction.”
