Twilight star Kellan Lutz was seen leaving his hotel in New York City on Thursday (October 25). The actor carried his luggage himself and chatted with photographers. The night before he attended – along with Ted Danson, Adam Levine and Shaun White – the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball 2012.
Lutz was honored for his work on behalf of Saving Innocence – an organization combating sex trafficking.
Recently his quote in an interview with Dujour magazine caused some headlines.
He had said, “I want to act for the rest of my life. I’ll win an Oscar one day, but I’m in no rush to get there. I don’t care if that takes me 50 years, and I’m old. I just love what I do.”
On October 19 he clarified what he meant on his WhoSay account.
“Not sure if you read my Oscar quote yesterday, but what I really meant is that I’ll probably win a Razzie in the next 50 years, or maybe a lifetime achievement Oscar for least lines spoken in movies…I love to act, but don’t need an award to feel proud of what I am doing. It’s the passion and love for what I do that makes my heart beat with life and happiness.”
