Jennette McCurdy stepped in line with a marching band while participating in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on Thursday (November 22). The iCarly star rode on the Goldfish float and then later performed That’s What Christmas Means To Me when the float stopped in front of the Macy’s department store. She tweeted:
“Thanks @macys and @goldfishsmiles for letting me part of such a fun, crazy experience! I’ll never forget it!!”
iCarly‘s one-hour series finale airs Friday night (November 23) and earlier in the day Jennette participated in a video chat with the Los Angeles Times‘ Show Tracker to talk about the end of the popular Nickelodeon series.
“It’s become very real because kids keep coming up to me and teenagers and college students who have watched it since they started high school and they almost start crying and they say ‘a part of my childhood is gone’,” she said. ” … it makes me sad.”
