Jennette McCurdy and a few of her pals (including her iCarly costar Miranda Cosgrove) are advising you to Trust No One. Obviously they’re just kidding, but I wouldn’t trust the guy holding the sign – he has zombie eyes.
All joking aside, Jennette has said in the past that being a celeb has brought up trust issues. “I started feeling like I was always on my guard, always looking for someone sneakily taking a picture or wondering what favor someone was going to ask for when they sent me a seemingly friendly ‘just checking in’ text,” she told the Wall Street Journal last month.

“It seemed everywhere I went, someone (professional or personal) wanted or needed something from me,” the 21-year-old continued. “It was as if I made a deal with the mob in some cheesy, old movie. I was no longer in control. People had expectations of me.”
Jennette has been grieving over the death of her mother, who passed away last week from cancer. Debra McCurdy had been battling breast cancer for 17 years – it went into remission but returned and spread throughout her body in 2010.
